Mining Engineer graduated from the University of Sonora, with postgraduate studies in Structural Geology and Geomechanics applied to underground mining methods. He holds a Master’s degree in Mining Operations Management and has over 17 years of experience in the mining industry, specializing in Geomechanics at a corporate level.
He served as Corporate Rock Mechanics Manager at First Majestic, developing Rock Mechanics departments in more than 5 operational units, as well as establishing corporate processes and standards.
As Superintendent at Yamana Gold, he led the successful opening of 4 underground mines under strict stability and operational standards. Currently, he is the Principal of Underground Mining Methods and General Director of the firm Ageommining SA de CV.
Mining Engineer graduated from the University of Sonora, with extensive knowledge and experience in mining operations, planning, project management, and mine closure. He has over 15 years of experience in the mining industry.
He served as Planning Engineer and Assistant Superintendent of Mining Operations for Goldcorp, determining project planning standards and budgets (LOM & BUDGET), and as Coordinator for mine and operational closure projects. He was also the Engineering Manager for MC EWENMINING, in charge of the engineering, geology, and mining operation departments.
Currently, he serves as Director of Operations for the firm Ageommining SA de CV, developing departmental strategies and acting as principal infrastructure designer and stability analyst for both underground (UG) and open-pit (OP) operations.
